My art represents the spontaneous side of me. With the camera as an extension of my mind, it's my goal to take a bite out of time/space in my world, and share it. My frame of reference is my life, thus a camera is always with me as I travel and experience life.
As an extension of my mind, my camera captures scenes that please me, in a micro or macro manner. Color and pattern; joy and regret; nature's beginnings and endings; all intrigue me, within the framework of time. Most importantly, seasons matter. With a childhood spent weathering Minnesota's extremes, combined with an early, learned Japanese aesthetic, my mind's eye has been refined. I will forever be in search of that most beautiful image that compels me to never forget that moment in time/space.
